Here’s a quick overview of each Warframe: The other Warframes may be earned later in the game, so choose the character that looks the most fun to you. Upon booting up Warframe for the first time, you’ll get to select between one of three of the game’s titular-named Warframes-a suit of armor that acts as this game’s class system. This is pretty easy to Challenge to do, as you only need to get 150 kills with Corrosive damage. If you’ve already completed the “Awakening” quest, skip to the next section. There are several weapons in the game that do innate Corrosive damage, and while it is easier just to use mods to finish this Challenge, it is always helpful to know which weapons have built-in Corrosive damage, as this can then be increased by using the Electrical and Toxin damage mods. Once you do this, the mods will combine to do Corrosive damage, as shown in the image above. To get Corrosive damage on your weapon, you need to combine a mod that does Electrical damage, and a mod that does Toxin damage in the same build. Each stack also has it’s own duration of 8 seconds, and new stacks do not refresh the timer on previously existing stacks. The maximum number of stacks that can build up is 10, maxing out at 20 percent armor reduction. Each additional stack of the status effect will reduce the armor by another 6 percent. Corrosive damage can cause the Corrosion status effect, which will reduce the afflicted unit’s armor by 20 percent.
You do this by using mods on your weapon, and it is a pretty easy challenge to wrap up. Corrosive damage is a secondary elemental damage type that can be achieved by combing two primary damage types. Today’s Daily Nightwave Challenge in Warframe has you working on getting kills with Corrosive damage.
In this guide, we show you how to do Corrosive damage in Warframe, and how to quickly wrap up the Meltdown daily challenge.
